2. Sensitive Permissions

KisanConnect requests the following sensitive permissions to provide core features:

• Camera: Used exclusively for Aadhaar KYC verification to confirm your identity as a farmer. We do not store or share your camera stream; it is processed securely via our KYC provider (Digio).
• Location: Used to provide location-specific agricultural advice, such as identifying local soil types and recommended fertilizer guides for your specific region in Karnataka.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify your identity as a legitimate farmer for subsidy programs.
• Process and deliver fertilizer orders locally.
• Provide you with relevant agricultural recommendations and weather alerts.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (a secure database-as-a-service). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

5. Account and Data Deletion

We provide a way for you to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. You can submit a deletion request online by visiting our Account & Data Deletion Request Page, or by contacting our support team at support@kisanconnect.app.

Please note that certain audit log details and regulatory-mandated purchase cap history (such as hashed Aadhaar limits for government fertilizer POS tracking) will be retained for statutory auditing purposes as required by Indian agricultural regulations.
